My children are easily amused. While in the shower, I could hear hysterical laughter from them. After I was dry and dressed, I went into the living room to see what was so funny, and to tell them to keep it down since their father was sleeping.
The 17, 19 and 23-year-old are on the couch playing with a $5 oinking, squeezable, thin rubber pig dog toy from Wal-Mart. It was a random purchase then we realized that it was so thin, the dogs would tear it apart in minutes and may choke on the pieces. It sits in the kitchen now.
DS3 is doing random things and making the pig “scream”in response, DS2 is making the pink “oink” in place of cursing while doing random rants about things I can’t even remember which was very funny, and DD3 is laid out on the couch with her leg on a pillow laughing so hard she can barely breathe.
If laughter truly is the best medicine, then I’m going to guess her brothers have healed her leg up quite nicely.
